hey,

is it just me or is this site just going down and out of business?

i have been a long time viewer since 2005 and it used to be a buzy forum with alot parts being sold and wtb, but now it gets updated once a week at its peak.

what ever happened to it? ns.com conquer all? i still prefer the glory days of this website than the nazi run ns.com.

I think this forum needs a boost other wise its a just a waste in the world wide web!

I would say just you, I find the forum a little slower than others out there, however, that's not to say that I feel it any worse than the others.

There is IMO better content, a much better attitude and a tighter knit group here at SilNSW than many other automotive related sites/forums.

Even with not currently owning a Silvia, I still enjoy visiting the site, now that must be saying something. In addition, I think you'll find that group attendence is still strong at SilNSW meets.

yeah i totally agree there. some of the guys here actually know causes and fixes of silvia related problems.

many in other websites tend to post whore. actually i have had better answers to my questions here than ns.com

it is a tight nit group but we need more livily forum!

a lot of the older,regular guys have moved on to other things,and most of the new crowd don't post all that much outside of the spotted and for sale threads.

many of the common technical issues newbies face have been answered several times over the years so if people have a bit of a look around they'll often find the info they need and won't need to bring things up again.

most of the current crop of regulars know each other outside of the forum and will meet up and talk shit in person,so not a huge amount of that ends up on the forum.

I'm pretty happy overall with what happens on here and with the volume of posts.
if anyone has some constructive criticism or suggestions for ways to improve the forum,by all means,post them up and the admin team will consider them.

SilviaNSW was the first forum i signed up to and it is still great

It all comes down to attitude

Most people on here bought their S platform cars because they actually drive/track their cars

Unlike other places where they buy silvias so they can tell their mates they just.... bought a Silvia..... yeah, sounds like the kinda people you'd wanna have sticking around

There are no "show us your muscles" threads and no one is spotted doing laps around George Street

Gah... making myself pissed off just thinking about theses nubs...

I'm only 15 and i enjoy it. Better then ns.com. Actually was the first car forum i found, by mistake as well. There is nothing wrong with it just that there are less fags on this forums.
