Hey guys
Just wanted to let you all know that I am involved with a charity called PowerKids Ministries. We're a small Sydney based charity and we've set up a home in Bangladesh for homeless children. At the moment there are 10 young girls in the centre.
Our friends at Power Tune Australia have organised a Dyno Day to help us raise money to help our cause. Check out http://www.powertune.com.au for more info on PowerKids or the Dyno Day. Or just ask me!

Date: Sunday, 4 February 2007
Time: 9am to 5pm
Come in early and get a ticket number
Only 30 - 35 cars will be run on the day
Location: Power Tune Australia
Unit 8, 88 Seville Street
Fairfield East NSW 2165
Cost: $50 per car
Three runs + one print-out
Cash, credit card or eftpos accepted
front /rear wheel drive or 4WD
Food: Sausage Sandwich $2.50
Soft drink $1.50
And more ...

Prizes for winners including $500 sports exhaust system (or similar performance part/labour) to suit the winning car.

I will also set up a PowerKids stand so you can chat to me and find out more about the charity if you wish. (So you can come meet me in person!)

We're hoping to line up a DJ and some magazine and newspaper coverage for the day so just come along!

that sounds like a winner. $50 is cheap enough anyway, but then for it being to a cause other than profit for a company is a bonus!

Ill see what car I have running at that time, and if ive got a job :lol:

A very generous sponsor helped us out with that prize. And hopefully I can line up some more good prizes before then.
100% of all money collected will go to the charity so the workshop is donating all of their worker, time and equipment for free.
I'll get back with all the details when it's all set.

I just checked the site and the results from Dyno Day 1. I would have taken that by a fair margin. Better get orgainising for them burgers pammie!
