I went out with the intention of losing my track virginity and
-learning the lines (still got a bit to go on that)
-learning the limits of the car (overdone ;))
-break into the 1:20 zone (only just)

Anyone that has any reservations about going out to the circuit - JUST DO IT! <tm> it's an awesome experience that works out to be cheaper that go-karting per lap -and- it's safe (especially at wakefield).

Surely others are interested in doing this kind of activity with the cars you build up, I honestly thought there would be more SNSW repping going on besides the seasoned top 3 ;)

Thanks for the circuit tips BadHairDave and Splashman - they helped my times immensely after the first familiarization run... I'll get those lines ingrained eventually!
