Hey, thanks for all the responses. About 2 weeks ago i put a deposite down on the cleanest 34 i had seen so far, for the price of $29,000 plus my car as a trade in, they were giving me $2300 for my rolla which was how much insurance is going to be. Then comes the hard part, getting that much money on an unsecured loan being a jap import. I'm still waiting to hear back from the broker... Looks like i may be getting an S15 afterall.

There was a finance guy there but he turned out to be an absolute fuckwit so i left him and said i would organise my own finance. The deposite was only $100, just to hold the car from being sold.

Put finance application through for a Pewter Spec S 2001 model i think it is. Find out monday if i can get it or not.

I'm so nervous! my car experiences consist of buying a $400 VK commy, just for the hell of it, and my current car now which was $4500. Not a $27000 on finance for five years! :-?

If your buying a $27000 car on finance you will be paying a lot more than $27000 buy the end of the 5 years.

having the money isn't the issue its good to get finance it gives you time and i paid mine off 2 yrs early cause the repayments were so cheap i had the time to save up.
Mandy i was in the same pickle as you i love 34's but s15 are sexy i waited and seriously this s15 fell in my lap at the right time i think you should do the same
