hi, i just wanted to know what would be involved in converting a turbo 180sx to a non turbo and how would i go getting it regestered as a non turbo because im a p plater in NSW.

As somebody who purchased a CA18DET as a P plater and attempted to make it a non-turbo I recommend you sell your car or swap for a non turbo variant.

After converting the car I could not get it registered as a non turbo and the performance and emmissions from the car did not pass the NSW testing standards. After a lot of heart ache and money spent I ended up converting it back and left the car garaged until I was on my fulls.

The performance of the car is terrible in comparison to when I purchased it. Trying to convert it will ruin your vehicle please be smart and sell or garage it.
