| Post subject: | Flat spot in S14 |
hey guys, is there any reason my S14 has a fairly big flat spot between like 2500 to 4000 rpm, it feels like it's only coming on boost hard after 4000rpm (stock turbo), i'm just wondering what could cause this i've been told to replace my coil packs or check whether i have a vacum leak. |

dodgy fuel or faulty injectors can cause similar problems, Try putting in some good octane booster and if the problem is gone than thats likley what it is |

do all the usual tune up items first (clean t/b,check air filter,replace plugs,replace fuel filter) and if it doesn't improve you'll have to look at other items. what's been done to the car? any recent mods? a flatspot at specific revs independant of load will most likely be an electronic fault - tps or such. more info is required.
