 Post subject: Boost gauge playing up

Hey there guys just wondering why my boost gauge all of a sudden when you turn the engine off it doesnt settle back at zero point on gauge from vaccum, you have to give it a tap for it to go back there........any suggestions on the possible cause of this it is a autometer ultralite 30psi

sounds like the needle is just sticking.
open it up and a very slight squirt of WD40 :D

My one is doing exactly the same thing.
Maybe thats the reason why autometer costs $180 and other brands are more like $300+
Unfortunatley i cant trust what it reads now so it is useless to me now.

Autometer are shit.

Spend the extra money and buy a Good boost gauge.

i read on autospeed that autometer are about 3psi out and pricol which is one of the cheapest and dullest lokoing gauges on the market are the 2nd most accurate.
