yeah i wouldnt mind getting some rubber boots for it, know where to get them from ?

the kazaama ones are actually really cheap in japan. you can get them from the auctions for ~13,000 YEN which equates to ~135 AUD by the current exchange rate.

But by the time you get them here the price becomes well over double..

I asked about them in a motorsport place once and got a funny look :)

I have seen them advertised on one of the jap aftermarket arms manufacturers sites. might have been nagisa auto? (sp?)

yeah not sure if they will even fit r-spec joints because they are slightly larger, im thinking maybe some sort of 'home made' solution might be the go.

anyone got ideas haha

Are there any significant difference between the rose joint used on the d-project vs the tuneagent? I am deciding one of the two at the moment, just getting the castor rod first but will eventually do the rear arms as well.

The rose joint "Looks" more solid on the d-project.

But for the sake of $20-30, the tuneagent r-spec does look more well finished.

==edit to add review==

Got the tuneagent r-spec caster rod at the end. Glad I did. The finish of the rod is perfect and the rose joint is very solid. Installation was very easy, took me a couple of hours to do both side.

These would be highly recommended if you like throwing a car around corners. Standard caster on the s15 is around 5-6deg. With the rod installed and aligned, it's now got 7.9deg right and 9deg left.

The result: much more steering feel, more direct, streering does feel heavier and centres straight as expected from more caster. Front end just turn in and grips now. To bring some balance back, I set my whiteline pineapples to traction mode and now it feels like a completely different car to drive.
