i just find out that most of the H1 HID kit has a very long light bulb, which apparently will not fit in the s15 headlight. So which HID kit to go for when you buy? Or do you neeed to modfity the headlight to fit it?

I didnt have a problem with the length of it but had trouble getting them to fit in..all u gotta do is file the inside of the lights..i have some ebay eagle brand...cist about $200 delivered pretty pleased with them too

go buy the genuine factory HID units. MUCH better than ANY kit you will buy. and yes i used to have factory HIDs. and will get them again when i have some cash.

what makes them much better then a decent HID kit?

going rate is $700?? for Factory HID headlights....i would rather invest my money elsewhere.

because the lenses are 'set' for the length of the D2S burner. hence why factory HID doesnt have black spots and have perfect cutoffs.

maybe my ebay 'set' are pretty good because i dont have any black spots, but i have nice clean cut offs
