Japan’s Shinji Minowa, winner of the 2006 MSC Challenge, will contest the 3rd round of the Toyo Drift Australia Series at Eastern Creek International Raceway. Minowa will drive for Driftjunkie Productions in the ex-Holford Motors Nissan S14 that was driven to victory by Luke Fink in the Drift Australia Series round in Tasmania in 2006.

Minowa who has competed in D1GP events in Japan, the UK and the USA is looking forward to his first visit to Australia.
“We are delighted to have Shinji Minowa driving for us.” said Driftjunkie Productions operations manager Beau Bailey “We have seen some demonstrations by D1 drivers in Australia before but for the first time drift fans will now have the opportunity to see a D1 driver battle it out with Australia’s best. It will be exciting to see how he goes.”

“With the release of our first DVD as well as a new merchandise line we have been looking for a way to get our name out there so this is a perfect opportunity to make our mark in the Australian drift community.” said Driftjunkie Productions director Leroy Bailey.
