I bought a DVD from Vanuatu last year, and it looked legit, I put it in my DVD player and it was DVD format, full menu driven with specail features and trailers, none of these worked :evil: .
Then I hit play and OMG it was a bodgy video camera in a cinema, really bad quality and since the movie was 3hours 15min, he ran out of tape and lost like 4 minutes while the guy changed tapes.
So even if they are DVD format doesn't mean anything.
The other thing that happen to a few other travellers is that they bought a few DVD's and when they got back they opened them and they were empty. :evil:
Just a word of warning. If you really wanted to buy them, ask to preview at the shop before you buy. But then again for a few dollars :-?
