Dont worry, this isnt a bitch about LG support hehe

I purchased 3 pair of adjustable arms for the rear of my car. they have ALL been in for 3 months now. I got them from different retailers so they are all different 'brands' although they are no name brands.

a pair of these arms have since stuffed up, the rose joints are loose as all f*ck and rattle to the shithouse.

i have contacted the vendor (a well known person from NS). he asked a few questions, and i received a few answers.

over the last week and a half, ive been emailing and asking if he will swap them, then ive since asked for a refund. stuffing up within 2 month is absoultely crap. 1 year i can understand, i dont exactly treat my car well, but i look after it.

anyway, i havent had a reply, im pissed off, i want to go up to his house (as soon as i make the call) and confront him.

i can totally tell he is dodging my emails, im going to call but he will start ignoring my number and apparently he doesnt answer calls with no number. yeah i know now why, probably because of the shit he sells he doesnt want people calling him back about it

ive been trying today to remove the arms and install the stockers back in, but i cant budge one of the nuts :( so they are still in there.

*rant over*

Three things id not skimp on with any car are steering, suspension, brakes.

You can just replace the rose joints if it all gets to hard. CBC bearings usually stock some decent quality rose joints or you could replace them with the proper motorsport quality joint, a little harder to find but I know road holder and Austrack motorsport have a wide variety of them.

its not the fact that the cheaper arms have stuffed up, i wasnt expecting super long life out of them. its just the fact that people ignore you once they realise their product sucks, so maybe in the hopes that i will go away

i think not, ill being posting in his threads on NS.com pretty soon asking WTF is going on

anyway, these arms are only a temporary measure till i can afford decent branded arms

I had a similar problem with a sponsor. Paid for my item, week later still hadn't arrived, contacted the seller it was sent, but he couldn't give me a tracking number. So he "sent another" this wasn't here in a week. I contacted him again, still couldn't give me a tracking number. So went and posted in all his threads - maybe you should provide my items before selling more - next day, I got an email with a tracking number for a package, day after that my item showed up in an express post bag.

ive never had problems with the sponsors on ns.com, then again i only shop from about 3 of them i dont trust any new people until others have taken the plunge. Also, i buy little first, then the more expensive stuff.

I know of some people buying even brand name items like cusco etc. and then, putting on these items even stronger rose joints as they always seem to fail

Post subject:

Its not really the rose joint strength its the quality and materials used to construct it

what are these joints made from?

just the usual brass type, and unsealed?

Author:  ZEi250t [ Mon Apr 03, 2006 5:54 pm ]
Post subject:

yeah they are unsealed. not sure if they are brass. my guess is not. the camber arms ARE i think. the toe arms have a rubber boot also for them.

anyone have a busted one lying around that they are willing to leave with me, with the posibility of me finding some decent priced quality items through work.
