Well for me 3 points is 75% of my license!!! and I only just got my license.

I have 1 demerit point to last me for 51 weeks!

At least you have a licence. I have no licence for 3 months and then for ANOTHER 12 months I am restricted to 2 points on the good behaviour bond. Not to mention the +$1500 fine. 1 point just means you can't get caught for anything. Avoid main roads at all costs.

shit man ..that sux .. buy a skateboard or something !!
Then again , they'll prolly bust you for riding on the footpath or without a helmet or some shit like that !!

For the people that are thinking about the $2.00 extra payment,, dont bother!
I did it and the bastads banked the whole thing!

Yeah and if you don't pay your fine after the 2nd state debt recovery notice, the RTA sends you a letter informing you that your licence is suspended and they will not do any business with you until you pay your fine

shit! You first get 21 days to pay. Is this right? and then when does the first reminder come in and when does the second? I wanna pay my fine before the rta suspend my license but my license is in my old address so I ain't gettin' the reminders.

I got done on this last double demerit points weekend because i was speeding, ok fair enough i was doing 98 in a 70 zone, but over here in Perth we gone done worse every 10Km/h we are over the limit or sumthing like that......the cop was pretty much a complete wanker but at first he seemed ok, coz he goes "scince your a probationary driver we would like to see you keep your licence".......me : "thank you officer, so would i" (always be nice to em....it gets you off sometimes!!!) Officer : "so i am going to say you were only doing 89 in the 70 zone.....there goes 2 points for me and $100 so i was thinking....that's not that bad just take it and go......atleast it wasnt excess of 90+ in a 70 because that is like $350. Then this pig goes "I did that because i am also going to book you for the red light you ran.!!." me : "WTF??? What red light? i didnt run a red light....it turned orange when i was about 5 meters away from it, i could stop in time, so your meant to go!" officer "NO! we saw you it was red before you even turned that corner!!!!" me "Bullshit mate!" - walked away with another $150 and 3 demerit points WHICH I DIDN'T DESERVE......i was pisssed off at that!!!
so in total i lost $350 and 5 points........and that is fuct!!! coz i have lost one before so now that's half my points gone and i still have about 1 and a half years on my "P's" to go still......i better not lose my licence on my P's coz then u have to re-take your licence again!!!!
so yea there's my story about a dickhead police officer and a double demerit point w/e!!!!

Here in NSW we have 4 on red p's and 6 on green p's......

What r green P's and what r red P's???

we just get a total of 12 points.......no colours.........and when you lose them all you have to re-sit your P's again and do the two tests again!!!
but the pigs here will give ya a yellow sticker for nuthing!!!

jesus! 12 points!!! on red ps which u have for a year after L's u get 4 points! then on green, which u can get after a year on reds u get an extra 2 points making 6 but if u lost any on reds then they carry over! ive been pulled over once for doing 120 in dads subie on double demerit weekend lbout 6 months ago...would have lost licence seeing its 3 points for doing 30ks over limit and that would have been doubled leaving me, a red p plater on -2 points!!!! fortunatley he was a real good bloke and explained this to me and let me go on my way.......what a nice bloke....

of course last week a cop i drove past, turned around and followed me around for about 5 minutes! bastard! didnt do nuthin and stayed under limit so he couldnt do nuthin but jeeze! thats rough...what a bastard

we get 12 right from when we get our P's........that sux u guys only have shit all!!!! i wouldnt have a licence if i lived where u guys live!!!! damn that's good! but bad coz all u guys rok and in perth the silvia club is shit house!!!

fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuk! just came home this arvo doin bout...not sure! maybe 120ish slowed down for my turn and see a white landie pull out bout 500m down the road...i slow down and go up my drive turned out was a cop car and this cop gives me an evil look......i was shittin meself....he KNEW i was speeding..i knew he knew...but i dont think the big 4wds have speed detecters.......thats i think ive used up all my chances............

damn im only just relaxing now i thought he might turn round and book me in my driveway!!!
