Hi all,

My friend, recently got his grubby hands on a garrett turbo. Wat is it, where did it come from, wat is the power output and wat boost can it handle.

These are the numbers on the turbo.
TE270
466071-0003
14411-05U21

Did a little google search and came up with this:

From these two links it seems the turbo is from a mid/late 80's Skyline six cylinder. Maybe a NICS version of the RB20DET (red cam cover). Maybe someone can give an idea of what this would be good for? My guess is maybe 130rwkw.

also matching one of the other links it says the engine was 2.6 litres

long shot but maybe R32 GTR turbo?

i'msure there's other turbo 2.6 litre engines out thee,

and if it was GTR wouldn't it be a smaller one, like T28 size or somehting?
