Post subject: | Decent Turbo Repairers |
After pulling my brand new turbo off the engine, I noticed damage on the compressor wheel. After a closed eye inspection of the new stainless intake pipe. I noticed loose metal dags hanging off the welds on the inside of the pipe. Putting 2 + 2 together the turbo needs to be repaired. Who does QUALITY work and balancing in Sydney? |

Garrett in Chipping Norton. They have a VSR balancer which is required for balancing BB turbos Post up pics of the damage. It might not be worth worrying about |

might want to check your FMIC inlet to see if any bits have pooled in there Good idea mokompri... I just assumed that those bits had already found there way through the engine, I never thought that they may have been trapped at the IC. |

Called GCG to see if they had the comp wheel in stock but they didn't. I found them a bit expensive so unless anyone else has a suggestion I might go through Garrett. |
