I don't know how big it should be for later mods...probebley as big as possible??? But I'm not a millionair...so...it has to be something compremising(cheap). It has to be a complete set with tubes. Plaese give me a lot of information.

I will try and help but soimeone will need to verify. As for size i have no idea what size so i cant answer that :) As for intercooler there are two types, bar and plate or tube and fin. This is to do with the core, where the air flows through. It is of MY understanding that bar and plate is more efficient at cooling, but have higher pressure drop (basically more lag than the tube and fin). The tube and fin however while not as good with cooling have a lower pressure drop (less lag) or something like that. THats why need someone to verify. As for which is the best for your situation i have no idea.
Hope this helpeed hehehhe

Is that a typo, or did you really mean to say "93 200sx sr18det".

I've never heard of that - anyone?

 I'm so sorry but I don't know if there is any diference in parts between a 1.8, 2.0 or 2.4 litre engine and make of year.
So to put it in other words,I'm just giving info of my car so that I'm sure that the info you give to me is for a 1.8 litre turbo engine and not for a 2.4 litre NA engine.OK?
So,I'm sorry for being specific.

If its 1.8 then it would be the CA18det not an SR thats why he was confused :D

but a 93 model should be an SR :o

now everyone's confused!!

If it's 1.8L though it's the CA.. A pic of the engine bay would sort it all out pretty fast :) (or the start of the engine number)

How hot does it really get in Belgium??
This past week, Sydney had 3 days with temps over 40 degrees.
I have a digital thermometer with a probe on my air filter and another near the throttle body. It only goes up to 50 and 70 degress respectivley and both reached the limits.
But on the other extreme, this winter we went to Waklfield Raceway and dam it was cold have a look at this pic http://www.oso.com.au/Robs/wakefield/wakefield_000.jpg

If you intrested in doing this yourself you can have a look at this page a am still trying to complete, 5 months later.

From Jaycar, from memory it was $39.
And yes that was a minus 1.9 at the throttle body.

Cold! :-?
at this time It's getting winter.
Now the airtemp is between 0°C and 10°C.
But it will drop soon to -12°C.
But sometimes we hit -20°C.
In the summer it gets hotter, not as hot as in Australia.
+-30°C,but sometimes we call a heatwave 37°C.
I know it sound almost like a joke to you guys! 8)

Now,can any one help me with my intercooler?
There are also water/air cooled versions.
Are they better?
The only bad factor I've heard is it's weight.
What about prices?
Pics of nice intercoolers?
The biggest intercooler inside a 200sx pic????
Just for fun
