I am getting some pics up a little later tonight, not sure what the max ride height is, I guess I could measure that tomorrow....

Serial Killa, this car was for sale late last year, although it wasnt red..... My wife was killed in a car accident and I have not done anything with the car since (not in this car)

The car will be registered hopefully next week so will come with 12 months rego.

Thanks All.

Looks great. Very sorry about your wife, I remember reading your for sale add about 12 months ago.

I am not interested in buying as I already have a convertible but would like to ask a question if you don't mind. On my car I have baby bolts on top of the roof cover which I use all the time. The issue is to take the roof on of off I have to take off the baby harness off the bolts which means walking around the car and basically doubling the time it takes to put the roof up or down. What I was wondering is can I get the bolts moved to somewhere below the cover so the belts for the harness come up between the seat and the roof cover so the car is easier to putthe roof up and down and secondly looks a bit neater. If you don't know can you tell me who complied your car so I can ask them about baby bolts and Silvia convertibles.

By the way I have had my car for just over 3 years and all up after getting it trimmed in fake leather by Autostyle and a lot of other tidying up have spent $30,000. I now have my car the way I want it but your would have been a much cheaper option. I am sure you will sell if ok at that price.

Thanks
Chris

Chris,
How do you have your rear seat belts installed? I have a bar installed in the rear that the belts and restraints are mounted to.

I am getting a new roof made up for the car and that should be on it next week. If anyone is interested please let me know.

Thanks

Hi,

My rear seat belts are lap belts that are bolted on under the seat like the roofed Silvia and on the side coming out of a slot just below the speaker. I think the lap belts were factory fittings and all that happened to get my car complied was changing them to seat belts with the ADR logo. My baby bolts are just bolted to the thin metal roof cover. Have a look at the attached pictures.

My preference would be to have lap sash belts installed in the back somehow and use those instead of the baby harness (Thing with the red Nissan seatbelt protectors fitted). The reason being is that those harness are rated up to 38kg and my kid is now 42kg. I guess I don't have to tell you about road safety and trying to make things as safe as possible.

By the way your car can do some fun things with that suspension. I think my kids would like it even more than mine. If something happens to my car before yours sell I will buy it, but don't hold your breathe as I look after mine quite well.

Thanks for your help
Chris

Chris - I am surprised that you didnt have to get proper retractable lap sash belts. I will take some pics of my setup soon and send them to you.

Also, The white wheels in the last pics are the wheels that are on the car, Not the ones in the top photo.
