Alright thanks for that, I'll pick up some braided ones then cause I'm not sure how many times the turbo has been taken off and put back on etc

Minor Update:

Got most of the interior all cleaned up and resprayed, just have to do the front part where ya feet go and behind the dash, also picked up front GTR calipers today, was abit of a shock at the difference in size between them

Image

Also seems that my wheels may foul against the front of the caliper, when i put the wheel back on and spun it to make sure, it caught a little bit as it was spinning, would there any problem with just not tightening the nuts as far? although I don't want them unscrewing themselves.

BIG PROBLEM :o

You will need new wheels or a spacer. FYI Spacers aren't legal, and if you must use them, use bolt-on spacers with a hub-centric ring ( that fits your wheel of choice ).

Any of these would solve your problem

:P I've no doubt they would solve my problem but I haven't long had the wheels I've got and don't have the money to buy more wheels so I'll have to take ronin's advice and find some spacers to get some distance between them and legality isn't really a problem cause it'll never see the road again.

P.S- Too_Much_Boost - Just noticed I think your sparco wheels are the same ones I've got the problem with..

I had a look at my rear rotors today and it appears that the rust on them goes deeper than just surface rust, so I'm just wondering if it'd be worth replacing/upgrading them? I've read through a few posts where people say upgrading the rears is money that can be best spent elsewhere but just thought I'd check with relation to the rust they've built up.

Check out www.jdmobsession.net for rotors, they sell RDA ones (slotted and non-slotted) real cheap! :D

Finally got around to buying front & rear s14 hubs for a 5 stud conversion, I got the front's from a wrecker & although I only needed the hubs and knuckles the guy gave me the disc's and calipers as well. Seeing as I've already upgraded my front brakes already I'm just wondering can I use the front discs/calipers as a rear brake upgrade?

Nope. Might as well sell them off

You don't really need to upgrade the rears other than buying decent pads. If you did upgrade the rears though, you would be looking for r32/33/34 rear brakes as they are vented twin pots

Thanks for that, I figured that it wouldn't work, but thought I'd go for the long shot, I'll just pick up some stock s14 rear discs and throw some good pads on them.

Minor Update:

Got the front hubs/knuckles changed over now just waiting on front discs, got nismo braided lines which I'll install tomorrow, also got the new radiator in & hooked up again and I'll have to clean up the floor and repaint it cause I didn't use heat resistant paint and don't want it peeling up :x

Enquired about an exhaust manifold from SS auto chrome & was told if I liked (if and I trusted them) I could send them some 'hard currency' cause they'd like some Aus currency to use at their school show and tell...not sure what that's about :-?

After 12 months I've finally gotten onto the person looking after the receivership at Nissan Penrith & he's investigating my request for a refund and will revert next week, so hopefully I should have my money back soon..

I bought my manifold from SS Autochrome almost 6 years ago!! Still going strong and no issues.

Not sure if that is reason to trust and send them cash...
