|
|
Hey guys, when I bought my car it had those white dial insert put in the dash which u can get, the problem i'm having though is it has slowed down the responses of the speedo and tacho a hell of a lot, for example tacho barely gets to 3000-4000 rpms b4 im guessing im around 5000-6000, not that i always rev it that high but i just need to kno what revs and speed im doin when im doin them, any ideas?
Thanks _________________

I've been using nulon without problem, mainly because I'm a tightass.
Also has a sticker on it saying 30% less friction than other synthetics, and I LIKE STICKERS. |

source another dash
also remove your dash and see if the white gauge is just laid over the old ones making it thicker which could affect the speeon needle speed. |

Well finally got around to taking the dash cluster and had a look through it, nothing seemed out of the ordinary so all i can think is that they damaged the motors when they put the inserts in or something, so decided to source another dash when i got the spare $$$, i cant imagine they would be that much, _________________
