So What do people think so far?

Has some potential, but the jokes are all really lame. The presenters don't really do it for me either

Feedback?

Yeah, i didn't like the presenters, they are just trying and no creativity! but it is hard to judge after one episode only :-?

Thoughts.

1. Reving the lambo in the studio. Even if they warmed it up first. Redlining it isnt cool If youve got time for that.... why not take it out on the track?

2. The track.
Overview/layout would have been nice.
Footage that DEMONSTRATED the track is a necessity! Couldnt see where the frigging corners were let alone the lines and apicies. A camera that was in a cherry picker rather than ground level would not have gone astray.

3. Where was the review of the soft roaders? Nice entertainment, but what was the conclusion? which car was the one to go for? (and why was the $50000 6 cylinder rav4 compared to a non turbo $38000 subaru? wouldnt the XT be a more obvious comparitor??)

4. Same studio and Same intro credits are a bit ...cheap.

Its got potential though. It was entertaining, but kinda lacked the detail. I think it will go ok.

After all the lead up saying they didn't want to copy top gear UK, they did exactly that....

except 1 thing. Aussie stig appears to be a midget, or a 12 year old. I'm sure if you saw foot work vid there'd be some bits of 4x2 taped to his feet.

Maybe the Stig was Grant Denyer?

Should be reasonably entertaining for a Monday night IMO, however the car comparo lacked detail (if not entertainment) i.e. which served best for it's intended purpose as a soft roader. Also, as pointed out by CraZeeE, the comparo wasn't a fair 1:1 between the vehicles chosen.

Perhaps these points will be addressed in the 2nd episode (Ford F6? vs. HSV GTS) by the looks of it. We shall see..... :D

Agreed!! Lets hope they lay a challenge down to their UK friends which may make it more entertaining...

Well i rkn the show was not too bad, hopefully they can improve... i think they going to slowly incorporate there own taste into the show, but the safe bet ( well what they thought was safe...) was to copy the UK completely and then slowly change...

My 2cents.. lol
