Ill let the pictures do the explaining.

I will tell you that I have a r32 4 door gts, when I bought it it had a gtr bonnet already on it.

Ive been told that the existing part for the latch usually gets spaced out, it appears as though it hasnt...
Any help?

Are you sure it had a gtr bonnet and not a modified gtst one?

I ask because you still have a gtst latch (which has been modded to clear the grill) as well as a gtst latch support (for lack of a better term) from what i can see.

That would make sense, I did confirm with the previous owner if it was infact a real gtr bonnet and he said it was.

This is my modified bracket with GTR latch to suit a gtr bonnet.

Pretty crappy photo (and welds) but you get the idea.

The stock gtst bracket sits the latch out another inch or so

yeah whyte I sold the bonnet about a week ago.

I ended up making it work with what I have, the primed part we took about 20mm from the sides and welded it back together.
Just need some black paint... :)
Fits good now.

yep, you definitely had a modded gtst bonnet as your latch support now matches mine (but looks heaps better) which suits a gtr bonnet

the only difference between the latches is the lever.

You need the gtr one (or mod the gtst one) to clear the grill. Otherwise it will fit and work fine.
