They don't steal them because they need to use them themselves. They do it to mess with you.
What makes this even more stupid than it already is is that these people probably don't even know you and wont be there to supposedly laugh when you get busted.
I'll never understand the mentality of some people out there...

hmm.. yeh.... I cable tie mine onto my towbar.

It's been ripped off my towbar about 10 times in the past 3 months though. Atleast cable ties are free from work and P plates are free from the RTA.

How much do you spend on p-plates dude?

Anyone about to get their greens: Get the symbols painted on your boot and bonnet and clear-coated over, itll cost $200 bucks but last until you get your new license and paint over it - you might break even!

I wish I'd thought of that when i got mine!

i fidn that mine, when secured by wedging it in somewhere, the stiffness of my car shakes them off, obviously s15s dont like to wear plates.

i know this because i check before i drive, and once i checked after i got where i was going, and they gone, so unless there is some cheeky bugger at the lights, ducking low and knicking them...

cable ties are a good idea. mine fell of everytime due to the stiffness of the ride and now i tied them up and no more problems :)
