S15 parts non engine mechanical will fit across the autech fine.. to the extend it really depends on what you want todo with the Autech engine.
Runing a turbo setup on the engine would be a waste of money becuase of 2 main reasons. 1) Its not worth the hasle . The engine would be worth double of a sr20det motor. 2) The autech runs high compression hence where it gets it's performance increase turboing it would impend higher risks of wear and tear on the engine and quite possibly pernament damage.

Stuff like injector's arent neccessary as the engine would not make use of the Injectors updated output. CAMS would be a smart idea. But good luck trying to find Tomei poncams in australia that are better than autech specialised ones ( Basically vct sr20de cams with +2 lift on the exhuastcam)

There the same block. same head So basically sr20det parts with fit sr20de

Going turbo on an Autech S15 is a rediculous idea.
Sell it and buy a turbo.

turbo'ing the car was never the idea im a P plater for one hence why i have the AUTECH version and plus it wud blow the shit outta the engine higher compression rates and turbo = KABOOM i just wanna get and idea of what parts i can use on the car which will raise the powerlevel's but at the same time not do damage to the car thanks

Honestly, cams and tune. The rest of the stuff is pretty much useless to you.

And NA cams are not the same as turbo cams so getting a 256/264 set of turbo hks cams is a big no no.

You might be lucky and find that a turbo model power fc is compatible but i'd be guessing if i said it would work.

Does anyone know if the autech shares the same clutch and flywheel as the turbo model? You can go a silly light flywheel/super single clutch to reduce the rotating mass. Thats probably the only other thing that may improve the acceleration.

edit. catback will likely fit, but a turbo exhaust will just be silly loud and way overkill.

According to HPI, it has a lightened flywheel, different from turbo model...

Lols at my crappy reading, reading the post under the posters post....
IMHO don't worry about the power on the Autech, put on an exhaust (but don't touch the stock airbox), perhaps add some cams and a tune if you really really feel the need.

Main question.
What is your purpose with the car?

Sorry. was reading a cross post on ns and posted in wrong section.

yea. the spec s power fc is compatible with the autech. it's pretty hard to find one in Japan. There pretty much the same engine, just different configurations. I'm pretty shure though you will need to perform other things like cams, airflow and exhuast to see any real big difference. as Iyou won't see an improvement over using standard systems with just a powerFc. If that even made sense that Yay. lol.

Hence why I prefaced my comment with 'according to HPI'.... :)

Nah DET ECU doesn't plug in. I was going to get a DE PFC from japan through neb, but we were outbid. Probably for the best, I don't think my tuning skills are quite refined enough yet

It feels like the smaller DE clutch.

Why's that? Do autechs have some specially designed airbox? Pod filter works well.

my intention with the car is to drive it and get as much extra power out of it as i can because its pretty much on of the fastest P plate legal cars out there i just need to know what i can and cant do power fc you say it wudnt do much i wouldnt notice it unless i did other work and what kind of work would that be? buying something that costs roughly around 1.5k for a shitty gain after you guys have made it sound so appealing lol
