I bought this car as a project in August 2008. I don't really have the time to work on it anymore, with a full time job in the city, so it never gets driven. Has spent the last two months sitting in workshop undercover.

Mechanically, the car is in great condition. All the electrics work. The engine has just been swapped, and was from a 1997 180SX Type S (which featured the non-turbo SR20DE engine). The engine has only done 68000km and runs perfectly. Compression test results were 150psi across all cylinders. Since the swap, it has been driven around the block just once, that's it. I have the receipt from the wrecker I bought it off. You are welcome to have the engine compression tested for peace of mind; but it is in perfect condition. I have receipts for all work done on the car and parts bought. A service has also been carried out less than 1km ago - new coolant, new brake fluid, new oil + oil filter.

The brake pads and slotted rotors have done literally 2km since they were bought brand new! Same with the tie rods. I also replaced the power steering rack boots because the old ones were shagged.

Currently, it has an automatic transmission, but I have in my possession a spare manual gearbox which can be included for an extra $500. All you need are the other parts to to the manual conversion - these can be bought from a wrecker for under $400.

Cosmetically, the body is a average. The paint is faded on the rear bar, and the stock spoiler was removed by the original owner and the holes were plugged with grommets. There is also a very small crack in the dash, which is typical on the S13s. The only other issue is that the driver's side door lock doesn't match the key - someone tried to break into the car, and I had to replace the entire door with a new one.

It has long registration, is cheap, and would make a perfect base for a track car or project.

If you are after an unregistered car, I can sell it cheaper without rego. I can also remove some parts e.g. brakes, castor rods to make the car cheaper.

NO OFFERS! This is cheap enough as it is!!

I am located in Cremorne, Sydney.

Call Pete on 0409 000 056 if you are interested.

PLEASE NOTE the rims in the pics are not included.
