i would seriously consider this, but unfortunately the payout for my car is still way too high.

new pic of engine bay up at carsales (pretty much to date)
http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/pr ... &D=4789081

tailshaft starter-motor were sent of today to be replaced and rebuilt; will have a new balaced tailshaft to suit the s15 diff, which will be in the car on tuesday night.

only things left to do is throw on some belts, fit the radiator hoses, throw on the intake pipe, plug in a few more engine loom connections and its on the road.

price will be jacked up once it hits the tar so if u want to grab a good deal nows the time. once its hit the tar it will be getting bigger injectors, cams and computer.. so price will be a far bit more as you could imagine.. (basicly for personal satisfaction as once its sold i'll only be driving a hilux)
this car has basicly been rebuilt ground up.

yer its been for sale for a while because 1st i was selling it wit a ca18det in it.. then i decided to upgrad to the sr.. and spend time doing it properly rather than rushing it.. (rebuilding and replacing) building it the way i want it.. but its now so close to being on the road its not funny, just need the time to do the last bits. once its on the road it will sell within a week guaranteed.
its just that no one wants a car that they can't drive away, little that they realise that the price will jump once it is on the road.

open to offers, has to go.
cant stand seeing it every morning as i go to work, just no time to finish it. about send it somewhere to get all the final touches done.
then it will be jacked up in price as i dont really want to spend more money on it as its pretty much ready to go and the machanic will charge a arm an a leg for nothing.

I'm very nearly tempted to come and have a look at this thing. What exactly needs doing to get it mobile from it's current state? I see you have changed a few things since the thread started.

work to be done:
to be filled with oils (diff, box and engine), put the belts on (still to get), hook up the radiator n fill, put on the new filters (oil, petrol, air), fit the starter motor n wire it. source a sr20det ignitor (plugs are different from the ca to sr) put on the hot pipe from the intercooler and intake pipe n get a tune.

Thats pretty much it, nothing really.. its basically a service n tune.

(still have the air con pipes n core if u would like to re install)

When you say wire the starter in...
how exactly did you do the wiring conversion?
