Since I am getting my S14 motor and also getting my intercooler, I thought it would be wise to get the new turbo also :)

So yeah.... anyone got one for sale? needs to be good condition cause its going to get some punishment :)

Also what do people reckon?

Is there a diff between the Aussie and Jap spec models...

Alternatively, can anyone reckommend a decent turbo that is a good upgrade from the S14 series 1 standard turbo ?

I want something along the lines of T28 roller bearing etc.

You gotta be REALLY lucky to get one for 600. I have only ever seen one for that price and I bought it. generally 800-1000 is the amount you will pay

Question?

Would you buy a s15 or a gt-25 in that area between $800-1200?

If you can actually get a new GT25 for 1200, i'd say go for it, but since the cheapest turbos around are on the website www.horsepowerinabox.com and they sell the 320hp GT25 (the smallest one you'd want to use on an SR20) for 1495, he is still better off going for the S15 one for 800-1000.

Secondhand GT series turbos are extremely hard to come by :(
