If organised, how much approx, and what is needed? (e.g. do you just need a helmet?)

Very keen on a skidpan.

Cheers,
Bree

no helmet required, just closed in shoes and clothing (ie dont show up naked and expect to drive)

damn, if i had known macgill was doing one just a couple days earlier i would of gone!

didnt realise he ran them by himself,

yea, im looking at the project D stuff, anyone know how tight they are with scrutineering?

Its kind of what made silnsw ones awesome, pretty much arrive and drive with no hassle. Haveing passengers is also a plus for newbs like me

And can you put stocko's on? e.g I have stocko's but there is f/a tread on them...would they allow that?

youre better off having some tread on the tyres you use on the day. just because they are bald doesnt mean youll drift better. plus, if they are bald now, youll pop them and have nothing to drive home on lol

but yes you can change wheels etc. people do it all day

Ah thanks Zei. I might just leave mine on then, i got a stack of tread on my current new tyres, surely I wont wear it all out in one day...!

Will keep my eyes open on this thread if any progress occures. :)

if youre good youll wear them out.

but dont take your good wheels with you, at least change the back ones. even put re-treads on the shit wheels. there is a danger with re-treads, so if you can spare the cash, get 2nd hand tyres, they dont need to be anything special, just get some tread.

yeah, its usually whoever pops the most tyres by day's end that success is gauged upon. bring as many spare sets as you can. if you dont use them, someone else will :) (dodgy 2nd tyres that you get for free from the tyre shop that is...)

i still remember when foo went to his first skidpan day and me and govich started delaminating his road tyres that he had to drive home on! lol
