Hey peeps,

Get pumped for our next major Circuit Club event - Oran Park GP!

This event is confirmed, here are the basic details:

Date: Saturday 13 June 2009
Time: ~8:30am-4pm
Price: $285 per driver
Location: Oran Park GP
Official timing & driver training included

After seeing some hectic laps of my mate at superlap, I'm keen to try OP for the first time...

haven't really been in with track days yet (i will be soon though) but have they always been that expensive? i always remember them being around the $160 mark...

I think you'll do well on the Circuit Radism - suprised you havent done tracking... I only reverted to the circuit because I can't drift for shit lol.

Oran Park GP is quite expensive to hire (relative to Wakefield and MDTC) hence reflected in the price.

If you can get out to OP sometime this year would be good - its supposed to close down at the end of the year!

Foo - next one at Wakefield is July 25.

Chris - I will turn a blind eye so long as you don't drift into my car. Is there even room to drift? My guess is there's enough room to get a bit of ass out to get around a hairpin...but you may get reprimanded for this if other people start complaining or it endangers them... isn't there a skid pan thread somewhere?

OP is my favourite track out of all ive been to in Australia and they hold multiple drift events a month there

there is definately room to drift

Hmmm prob leave the drifting to a drift specific event. I'd probably start pissing a lot of people off who are interested in getting a fast time.
