everyone hink i live so far away :(

its only like 1 hour to the city

that IS a long way from the city. I can walk to the city from my place in less time than that. I'm also a 10min walk from bondi beach and 5min from the harbour.

mind you,my project car is garaged an hour from home,so I do a 2hr return commute once a week to work on it... the price of living where I do. great for everything but the car.

Justin...

p.s. if you guys seriously want to have a big meet up,put your heads together and organise one. pick a spot, pick a day, then post it and invite people to come along. it's not hard.

I don't mind organising stuff, but the last one of these got like 30 definates and only 5 showed up. This meant we bought way too many drinks and food.

I won't be caught out with that again this time. It will be byo everything if we have another one

How about you try a deposit system for events to cover minimal costs and put profits towards improvements to the forum/club?

Please don't take this as wrong as I'm not an expert and just trying to help.

We do already have a donation system. I don't think anyone has donated in years though
This club barely survives off the few sponsors that we have. We always lose money off BBQ's (especially when nobody turns up like the last one)

Why dont we have everyone bring something to the BBQ so it doesnt cost the club anything. So sometone can provide the snags, another sauce, another bread etc-
