Not sure of the size. It would be a pretty big file as its long and in high def.

Im at work now so will find out later tonight.

Have some others too of just tmb, then fusion, dave etc. Not the best footage but footage nonetheless.

Watching the footage helps heaps. I could see where I was taking the wrong lines, not hugging the ripple strips, braking at the wrong spot. Could easily have taken a few tenths off (or more) with a good clean lap.

i was pretty pleased with my day.

fastest lap was 1:11.4, so i got into my target region, but i still feel like i can go a lot quicker. i think the wing I borrowed was slowing me down. it may only benefit for 1 or 2 corners, but was slowing me way down the rest of the lap.

i needed to get fuel after session 4, but i didnt need to last track day, that might be an indicator into how much extra power was wasted to get the car around the track.

id like to think i can do a mid 10 next time with the wing off, or even low 10 or high 9.

Its about time we saw that amount of Nissans down at the track!

Anyway, here is some incar footage of my crapheap. Note the howling from the blown turbo-manifold gasket resulting in not_enough_boost.

There was a few 9's in this vid

Great day!
now i know why u guys are so addicted to it!

given it was my first time ever going to a trackday it was a bit unnerving to see a car flip even before my first session out, but sure was a helluva lot of fun once u get out there!!

managed to squeeze into the 1:17's!!

glad to fly the silvia flag amoungst the slow group!

Good to meet a few more members and say hello/talk Silvia's and real sports cars 180sx. lol :D

Had a ball with SRS13 (matt? sorry if wrong man) and Dave in the last few sessions and especially remember the squeeze up the inside on turn 10 and drag onto the straight.

Had a good time in the 180sx even though it didn't do any 1:08's this time. Still happy with 1:09.1 considering.

I had an accident not caused by me (camry driver...lol) 2 weeks ago and i've been a bit twitchy in traffic so not suprised at my results and willingness to push past my "brake now" thoughts. The zone is gone or something. Dave can understand...haha

My 4th gear is still intact so the day was perfect actually. LOL

James

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to mix it up with anyone as I didn't come up against any traffic in the first 4 sessions. I normally do my best times when trying to chase someone down or get away from someone

The vid I have shows you (tmb) and I going for a few hot laps... then Dave and the blue 180SX.

I have tried uploading it to youtube and it did upload but wouldnt play. I then converted it to mpeg 2 and uploaded again but if failed during the upload. It is 360MB. Will try again later tonight.

Fusion: names John not Matt :) I have that moment on video aswell. It looks very tight coming into the last turn!

Once again if I can upload it I will.

Very happy with the day and the times. Just need to make find out why the car was overheating so often :x

I uploaded mine as wmv. Youtube will probably need an hour to process a video that size.
If you can host it on an ftp site, I can download it then upload onto my youtube account

OK will convert to wmv and then upload again. It took ages for the first upload to go through, almost 2 hours.

fusion/dave: there was a bit of room. I was going to dive in on the inside and I reckon I would have made it easily but thought it best not to try incase in went pear shaped. Although on the video it does look tight!

I have to see this video.

James commented on it being tight too but i didn't think anything of it at the time.
