Did they invent that phrase? Shame on them if they did.

To be honest, I have watched one or two episodes...I'm not a big fan of the narrator, but they have had some good features. The Bel Garage S2000 comes to mind, and also the Bodyform GT-R. The rest is usually (IN MY OPINION, just to make it CLEAR) fairly average.

To each their own; if you like seeing chromies, then good on you.

It's funny that that's the image Ignition DVD has.

I went to motorex earlier in the year to see a good friend's hot rods on show, and got a chance to speak to Andrew that makes the ignition DVD's there. I only spoke to him for 5mins or so, but I got a very strong impression that he wants to change the direction of Ignition. He was telling me how their old contract was very limited in what they were allowed to feature, and each edition was very formulaic content-wise.

He was very optimistic that Ignition will change for the better in the future, becuase he has more freedom now to feature what he wants. His heart is definitely more in motorsport, and I think you will see a lot more drift, circuit and drag event footage/cars in future, rather than sex spec etc which has domiated in the past.

He even said it would make more business sense for him to feature more motorsport oriented stuff, because he finds that the only people that buy the sex spec type editions are the car owners and their mates - no one else is interested...
