be glad you didn't go, highway patrol blocked it all off and defected the crap out of almost every car....but mine thank god! somehow got away with it. i said i was off to Ikea cause im moving next w/e (well i am!) :D

plus the weather was shit, and only 20 cars turned up.

i know. the guy who organised it talked to the cops to tell them we were having this cruise if they were wondering why the sudden outburst of cars, they said thats fine thank you for notifying them...

then they set up defect stations and blocked us all off.
I think it's very unfair that people go to the effort of actually telling the cops about a cruise, for them to find it as some juicy catch and power-run on themselves. thank god the one who got me was nice and let me off, as i wasn't going on the cruise up the coast, just went to say hi to a few people.

You probably got let off because you are a girl! Yes, I'm being serious.

What did you expect though? Homebush and the Western Suburbs is rife with HWP Officers handing out defects like candy. Of course having 20+ cars on a cruise is going to attract reasonable scrutiny from the authorities.

From what I hear as well, it may be justified, considering the usual tools that attend BoostLosing meets.

That's all for now. :x

well i shall say i learnt kinda the hard way i guess? LOL

im a girl, yes. but my boyfriend did most of the talking to the cop i just kinda stood their dumbfounded, he didnt even get out of the car. just pulled up behind me n sat there...so Michael got out of the car to talk and after a few mins i hobbled out too. He thought i was doing a runner as i went the opposite direction to everyone else. lol
