best track day eva!

It's amazing what times you can get when you have a mate a few hundred meters in front of you from the start and a reasonably clear track....

Yep, that was an awesome day. Got a PB out of the nugget MX5 - 1:15.7

Good to see BHD get into the 7's :)

See how that black STi suddenly got a 7 at the end of the day? Boz was driving it. The owner looked pretty surprised that it could do it. He was only managing 1:13's in the first session

Will most likely see you at the next one.

good stuff!

Sounds like I need to get some new tyres and have a proper go :)
It's a bit scary now Dave's learning to drive!

you should be happy. Less chance of being hit by the land barge now that i can steer a bit better.

I was wondering why that sti suddenly jumped from middle of the pack to front runner.

Hi brenno!

actually, quick edit; I'm pretty happy to see 2 15+ year old nissans aren't being out classed by much newer modified factory specials.

yep, some of the new cars are pretty quick, but a well set up car with the basics will still give them some tough competition :)

One rather large gallery from the day.
This link was posted on the AussieElises forum. There are over 800 photos.

Credit to Emily B in the Evo for the pics

There's more photos of my car cornering than i've seen in all of my previous track days! Too much roll, not enough front camber...

And not a SINGLE one of my car

Pretty sure Emily B was in my group, in the yellow Evo...

There are more times as well - from the earlier session. I actually ran quicker in the morning than the afternoon. I think most of you guys were quicker in the afternoon though...
