thanks for organising this guys. it was a good night.

it was good to see all my mods come together and give me the power i was looking for. i nearly guessed it. i thought i should get 175kw, 180kw would of been good. i got 178kw.

the fact u cheated by running more boost than me!

:P

(I dont actually have any idea what the argument was about nor did I know there was an argument)

Ok so it's MY problem... that YOU don't have a boost controller.... :)

Seriously though, yours looks a lot more exciting to drive than mine.

Seemed the 170 - 180rwkw bracket was pretty popular!

I was hoping for at least 160rwkw and got 164 so I was pretty happy.

Was a top night, thanks again for organising it guys :)

It had nothing to do with either of you. the 'discussion' was about the relative driveability of two 180's that had over 300kw atw.

Actually fergo, one of those 180's never made over 200rwkw

You know who you are under-200rwkw-guy!

A shitload of fun is the answer!

found later that my plumb back bov hose had blown off leaving a hole behind the afm making it lean out on the dyno and run a bit shit

now i know why my reading was so low :(
i was thinking why do i only get 220 :(

they got a shit readout, coz they put the probe at the tip of exhaust, where as Chea puts it at the dump pipe, takes out the o2 sensor and puts it in there and get more acurate reading, same with Paden

Mate, where you place the o2 sensor won't affect power output. Maybe you're thinking of the air temp sensor, which is usually placed somewhere near your airbox/filters.

o2 sensor will only show if car is running rich or lean.

Eddie: read back a page or three in the thread. the prelude was turbocharged. not that you could hear it over the exhaust...

Funsiz: that little thing rocks. I've driven copens before back when I used to work for toyota. if you can squeeze yourself into one I doubt you'll get out again without a smile on your face.

Chindo: I have to agree with what anabolic just said. the dyno's o2 probe has nothing to do with the output of the car during the run. putting it into the exhaust up front is done for actual tuning where you want a more accurate reading than you need on a dyno night. on the latter it's only there as a safety check.
you made less power as yavuz doesn't put in high ramp rates and hang the intake temp sensor near the exhaust manifold to fudge up the numbers. what you got was an honest readout.

i remember your car, big top mount turbo

what turbo is it ?

something that big either way needs to make more power :)
i also agree with the above comments regarding the 02 sensor
