We stopped organising cruises when one of the ex-moderators put his car on its lid.

A few of the club members are regulars at wakefield.

Jay - You should give that a try. Wakefield isn't that scary

Trashcan. Nice.. I shall use that one

There isn't anything stopping you from doing both drift and circuit stuff at the same time. There isn't alot of difference in car setup

Semis aint cheap (although good). Nankangs are the go!

When we get a few more people going to the track, we might put up a leaderboard

Nankangs ftw. I was doing brake drift into the fish hook every lap.

As for cash, it's all about priorities. I work part time at a supermarket and I've been to wakefield twice in as many months.

can you guys organise drift practice days?
more better if it can be half wet/dry sorta thing.
makes it easier for noobs (such as myself) to learn drifting yet have fun at the same time.

initialdrift do this but they're only full dry days.

I dont see how they are going to wet an entire track or half a track without it raining, wetting a skidpan is one thing but wetting an entire track is another...

are you sure? there was only 2 days that I know of last year and only 1 was wet, and that was because it rained

I dont see why they would wet the track on purpose seeing it was a grip and drift day

yeah it was on their 2006 calender on the forums.
hmm after thinking about it for a bit, i dont thnk it actually went ahead cause EC were whinging about how their turf is getting damaged so IDA cancelled.

but it was on the cards tho..
lets hope if a day is organised & it rains :P

Lets not get ahead of ourselves aye, a few skidpan days to get more people learning the basics would be tops, then if there was a circuit day with drift sessions there MIGHT be more action taking place than people talking about it..
