seriously though, the idea of the Nankang Challenge is to level the playing field a bit and get some friendly competition going without it costing a set of semi slicks every couple of track days.
We won't be going super quick, but it'll be fun!

That's the best idea since sliced bread - a control tyre of sorts :D

I can imagine tyres get to be seriously expensive if you're doing this on a regular basis...

Did you guys do a group buy on these tyres?

hay i might go and see what my new NA S13 can do and its already got nankangs :D (on the rims when i bought them) Btw it is a VERY noob question but i assume i need a Cams licence and can i get it on the day nething else i need

You don't need a cams licence for this event. You can race at wakefield with only a wakefield licence. You can buy this on the day for $50 and it is valid for 12 months.

Other than that you need a helmet, and long sleeve clothes

You may not need your own helmet either. I hired one at the last circuit club day - email Narada (see 1st post) if you want to check whether they will be available at this one.
