Turned out to be a fun day.

Total of 50 cars with bucketloads of EVO's and skylines, plus our group from SilviaNSW.

Liz had some bad luck with a radiator explosion which managed to take out 3 skylines that were following her (quite funny)

A few of the SilviaNSW people posted PB's which is good too

Not even when the skylines started to pirouette?

It was a really good day. The rain stopped early morning and the track had dried up nicely by the end of the 1st session

yep, lots of fun!
I went slower than I ever thought possible, thanks to tyres that don't work, but it was still good :)

it wasn't understeer or oversteer, it was both!

over two seconds slower with exactly the same setup between used RE55S (which I thought were pretty bad compared to new) and used A048Rs

That was a fun day 8)

Car started whistling when i fixed the brakes, and I did my usual 1:19, car wouldnt stop whistling, but drove fine, put on the semis and started chasing a silver 32gtr, fun, car sounded like a truck so i skipped the drift session, car had lost 3 of the 4 manifold to turbo nuts... But I dont care because I did a 1:15.85 (4 seconds off my morning sessions!)

Stoked

i'll be having words with my mechanic once I get the courage to ask for a refund.

If you lead with your right fist, he should be pretty receptive to a refund

Or you can just go the guilt angle, and point out that due to his crappy workmanship you spent $160 on a track day plus fuel and tyres and got 3 decent laps in because the car kept breaking.

If that doesn't work, you should break out the screaming windmill.

Its a chick you are talking to Dave. She can just start crying uncontrollably. It works better for girls i think. (It never works well for me anyway)
