It would be my first time out too, so I emailed the club organiser. This is what he sent me:

Hi Leif,

Sorry for the delayed response!

Driver training basically involves a number of professional drivers that you can choose from and they can guide you from the passenger seat, or from the drivers seat. They can also do informal coaching using powerpoint and do theory stuff if requested. Its all free of charge too so its well worth it!

Basically, we get there early, around 7.45 or so to do sign in etc. A drivers briefing is held at around 8.30 and at 9am you are free to start using the track. The day is broken into 3 groups, based on experience, and you are all given 20 minute sessions, meaning all 3 groups rotate once per hour.

This repeats all the way till 5pm when we close.

All the Honda fanboys are going to be out in force for this one, since Ichishima Tatsuru is down in Sydney with Pro Concept.

So hopefully blacksx and DRE350 will be showing the FWD hatchbacks how its done with FR coupes. So even if you don't drive, come out and watch.

No wise cracks!

I will have the turbo side in bits on that day i suspect, unless i can miraculously source a whole heap of gaskets from various sources in the next couple of days, and then find another day to fit them all.
