Some local-ish motorsport tyre places:

Gary's motorsport tyres - my brother bought a seat there and the dudes working there are pretty cool..

Another place to try would be gordon levin tyres as mentioned above..

For RE55's: http://www.bridgestone.com.au/tyres/products/motorsport/index.asp

note: the first link said that the commodore cup is now running the dunlop semi's, i might give them a call and see if theyre cheap like the 55's were 8)
