29/6/07 Friday Night Off Street Drifting

Any body been to one of these? Are these nights any good for beginners? I can't drift but want to learn/try.

best to start with an ida day if your a beginner, you get alot more track time and you dont have poor visibility like you experience during an off street night

first time I drifted was a friday night, and I didnt really get the hang of it till I went to an ida day, lots of time to practice then

Hmm, next IDA day is next Saturday. Car needs a service, but I will be busy all week :( Looks as if my 513's next track day will need to wait..

I'm still up for watching though.

Keep an eye out for me and my mate in a yellow wide body 180sx, MMVR sprayed down the sides. Alex should hopefully carve this up as a practive event until julys neaxt meet at eastern creek doe drift australia..

fun night, apart from blowing my clutch in the top 4 battle.

still managed to take out 2nd tho.
:wink:

I had 1st in site but gave it too much gas on the last corner and spun, causing a re run, ah well ...
