lol lol yeah i had some large spinouts, when i got home i did feel quite light headed !

i'll have the front tyres changed before next outing, so hopefully reducing the amount of understeer im getting.

was awesome fun though, and im definately down for another one !

Your understeer wasn't primarily caused by the lack of front traction (I run semis which have zero wet weather grip). I think you weren't really abusing the car enough. You need to give the rear tyres a jolt to make them loose traction, either by hard gearchange to 2nd, clutch kick or handbrake.

Its a shame we couldn't have passengers as i'd happily let people jump in the passenger seat and see the methods i used in initiating a slide

It was a little difficult with that guy with the black hair and strong voice yelling shit straight in your ear... "more speed, hit the gas, HIT THE GAS, I SAID GAS NOT THE HANDBRAKE"

I saw you understeering hard mokompri, didn't look good.

I didn't mind having him in the car.

Once he explained how to do stuff and he saw me doing it that way he was happy to just let me keep at it and spin regularly and offer a bit of advice here and there.

the problem with my tyres isnt so much that the front tyres dont have any grip, more so that the rear ones have more grip relative to the front ones. i have mis-matched tyres back and front. and the front ones are absolute shit..

but yeah your also right. i primarily tried to just floor it and hoped for the power to cause loss of traction so i could concentrate on steering, but the slow speed & lag in second gear didnt do it well enough.

the only other technique i tried was handbrake, but i dont think i pulled that off properly either. i'll have to try clutch kicking next time round !

some guys like salwyn, man his car got sideways at such slow speeds !

haha yeah it was hard concentrating and having him giving instruction, everything happens so quick. he kept saying floor it, not realising most of the time i was haha

i remember i noticed the car strangely slowing down, im like wtf then i look over to find the instructor yanking the hand brake up ! even that didnt get the thing sideways

I was getting bad understeer when they had the big course.

Then I relised I was going into the big corner at the rear to slow and trying to kick the arse out too early.
