I heard the same thing from a friend last night but it was a cruise at night not in the morning/day....

I am interested but find it hard to beleive that cops wont defect ppl (I am sure they will defect the insanly illegal ppl).

Any idea who is organising it or where we get more info ? cause I know we have been on the gong cruise on anzace day HEAPS before, but this is the first time I have heard of the donation = no defect (its a good idea if its legit).

Not sure who is organising this, but i believe its another "Supercruise". All the donations are legit and apparently there is police escort this year? Went on Supercruise 7, bumper to bumper from Sydney to Woolongong, all through Woolongong and back home again. :x

Well if this is true and we can't get defected then I would say there is a large group of us who might make it again this year.

If the donation = no defect is true, then I will go.

Who else will come with me ? We can meet up before hand like we did in previous years ?

Its for a good cause :)

The meeting place for Sydney is at the Select Service Station next to Kingsgrove North High School about 10am, cnr Kingsgrove Road and St Albans Rd Kingsgrove.

It will be a huge turnout with everything from Lambos to old GTs. I believe there will be a Police escort to the Gong. Organizers will be providing official stickers for a small donation. If you have a sticker on your car you will have less chance of being hassled by the cops as it will show you are part of the official event.

Clubs from all over NSW will be there.

The servo at Kingsgrove can hardly fit 10 cars let alone 2000, that is the worst spot ever.
It took us longer to get to the servo last year then it did to get to the gong.
Surley such a big event ppl can come up with a better meeting point.
I.e Homebush.
