Yeah but we didn't do anything stupid, and we took our rubish with us, so there is no reason for them to harass us.

That is the first time in 20 odd years of driving I have come across such closed minded policing, no wonder people down here think their arseholes with stunts like that.

I could fully understand it if we were causing a disturbance or doing donuts in the car park but just sitting there talking and getting hassled is rediculous.

Maybe we should be out stealing cars or doing drugs since you cant do up a car and get together with like minded people without being hassled.

i dont blame them, that place gets trashed every single week and i'd say that our club is a massive minority when it comes to police respect and hooliganism in that area. i dont have a problem moving on without question if it means that each and every one of our cars doesnt get defected, which they have every right to do.

im with splashie on this but totally understand the old fellas view.

Police still have a job to do, and clearing everyone out was probably easier for everyone then doing defects as im sure they would have a mountain of p/w to clear after wards as well.

Yeah that doesn't seem to hold water if they were going to do some kind of raid I doubt they would show up in marked cars and in uniform. Also I doubt they would be so visable. I realise some criminals are stupid but I doubt they would be that stupid to hang around while they moved everyone on.

Im glad nobody got defected - especially since some bonnets were up! I think they may have just been clearing away people near the dudes they needed to deal with... Also im guessing they get sick of people in modded cars spending lots of time there as some of them give us a bad name....
