I've been on this forum for a little while now so i suppose i should show ppl my own S12 project, i've done basically the same thing as too_much_boost with a SR20DET into a S12 coupe. It's not far off being finished with the only things left to go being a mount for the rear of my IRS conversion, a tailshaft and all the stuff that goes with engineering (noise test, weighbridge etc). Anyways, some pics i've taken during the build up. Intercooler is JZA70 supra, airbox is VL commodore, fuel pump is VL turbo, clutch is 750kg organic centre, exhaust is 3" dump back. Everything else is stock for now.

I've managed (well gerry did) to find a picture of the s12 silvia rear end to get a look at the factory stickers, it seems they are exactly the same font/style as the gazelle stickers but they say silvia instead, i'm gonna see if i can make some on white vinyl with a laser printer. I might make a gazelle one to scene as the gazelle was the more upmarket of the two (i think)

just noticed your adjustable camber tops. what sus have you got?

I'm running cusco coilovers for a s13, with s13 front hubs, on the s12 swingarms with modified s13 steering arms screwed into the s12 rack. The s13 steering arms are to long so i extended the thread on them and chopped a little bit off the end so they could be screwed down to the right length.

Updated the photos at the top of the page, didn't think i needed to many photos on here. Car is almost done (still almost ), needs only a tailshaft and exhaust mods to be driveable. I'm in the middle of prepping it for paint right now though (which isn't much fun) scene as no where is open this week to get the exhuast modded or the tailshaft made.

Luvin the fluffy doors and stock lookin air box!! If only the S12 engine bay looked like that from factory

w00t most ppl seem to hate my furry doors, dunno why . They are tastefull, a mate of mine had purple cow print once in a $700 banger...

Another update, i drove the car on the road for the first time last week (having no bonnet or boot kept he neighbours interested ) but it had a problem, misfiring on boost (after about 3psi). I traced the problem to a dodgy coil and it's all better now, all that's left to do is respray it and it's done

Updated the photo at the top again, i'm taking the thing to get blue slip etc tomorrow so with any luck i'll be driving it around happily by the weekend. Still some tiny touch ups to do (paint mirrors etc) but nothing big at all
