Hello !

I'm from Norway and I own an 91 200SX with a CA18DET engine, but i've been looking around this forum and it looks to me like the CA engine is rare in your country but it florishes with S13's with SR20's which I have never seen in Norway.

I was just wondring if im totally wrong here or not, hehe, to me it looks like the CA is a goldmine over there..

Damn man, your engine bay is one of the cleanest CA's I've seen, how do you keep the dirt off?

Nah, the CA engine is not rare at all. There are just alot more SR20's, but finding a CA isn't difficult.

CA engines are not rare by all means, its just that most people prefer to get SR s13's.

And most importers are more inclined to import SR equiped cars, as they would be easier to sell.

Thanks!

Yeah, all european versions of the 180SX is called 200SX, mine is imported from Switzerland. Mine also has the steering wheel on the left side of the car :D Which almost all european cars have, exept Great Britain i beleive..

I have only owned ther car for about a month now, it looks very good, but it has a little high mileage, it has just rounded 200k.

Personally i think my engine bay is a little dirty hehe, so i run around cleaning it now and then.
I havent started modifying it much yet, ive only just installed a GReddy Type S dump valve and inside the car i've installed a GReddy Full Auto turbo timer and an Apexi Multichecker, plus a small sound system.

For future mods im thinking of a new air filter, FMIC, chip, boost upgrade, and WHEN the engine breaks down, ill order a new fast road CA from Norris Desings in England which has been modified to handle over 400hp.

But then again i have this money problem, hehe.
