That cooler is actually an AVO stage 2 cooler off a VL Turbo. Avo actually weld 2 coolers together. Not the best way of doing things, but seems to work

hey man i was thinking of doin an engine swap an drop in an SR20DET, but got told a few times that its too high for the gazelle bonnet, just wondering if you could hook me up with some info on your conversion, then we can shred all the other kids hehehe :evil: Peace

I have found a solution to the engine being too high. All I did was cut out a couple of the bonnet support braces and then the bonnet closes no problem!.

That reminds me, I should take some more pics and update this thread

With any luck it will be registered in January.

All it needs now is rear disks, an emissions test, an engineering cert and rego.

It should pass engineering easily as I have done everything that is required, even taking out the microtech and putting factory ECU back in for emissions

c'mon boosty get the gaz go'n, can't have the CA20 being the best engine that ever made that car go.

Maybe you could put the CA20 back in it and sell it back to dumhead and start the car swap cycle going again...

Yeah I made the dump pipe, entire 3in mandrel exhaust and the intercooler piping (as well as many other custom bits), and sure i'd be interested to do cooler piping.. on my car only though :P

The Gaz is engineered and running, needing only rego to make it roadworthy... I've got too many better projects in the works, which is why the gaz hasn't (and maybe never will) see the road
