IRS is actually quite rare in Australia. Most have Live axle diffs.

The IRS they had was pretty poxy though but gives a nice range of centres to choose from

Well its got IRS, but the LSD is yet to be seen.
I will try to get underneath and find some form of identification.

what do CA18DET's go for these days?

There is a guy selling a CA18 long motor for 500bux on performance forums. They are cheap (because of their crapness level)

A long motor is a complete motor that is usually minus manifold/turbo/etc

Try finding an FJ that doesn't need rebuild. They are pretty old engines these days
