Bought an S12 on monday as a run-around, go's pretty well.
its a white 2 door with all the power options and good A/C plus it has an LSD. For $1400 with 6 months.

so i can come and meet up under my own steam before the Navara is finished.... BTW, the exhaust should be finished today (or so they tell me)

:P

im thinking of an SR20DE, cause the GF needs to drive it.
but first on the list is decent wheels and a conservative stereo

It would be just the same amount of effort to put a SR20DET in it. If you wanted a bit more power, but not bucketloads, then put an CA18DET. They are a direct bolt-in. You could do the conversion in a weekend. The only problem is you;d had to deal with the inherent crapness of CA :)

Wheels are the same stud pattern as S13 (as you probably already know) but require a different offset to make them sit nice in the guards.

Dumheds S12 has 8in rims all round with plenty of space. I reckon you could fit 9's at the rear if you really tried

well, i was hoping to keep it NA, maybe even a VG since some european ones had them. but i have time to think about it..... keen on wheels tho

what do you mean different offset? what needs to be done?

The Yankee S12 (200sx) came out with VG30ET too.
NA is gay. You need TURBO POWAR! (not that CA's make power though)

Offset is built into the wheel design. It is how far the wheel sits in from the guard. The offset of a wheel is generally marked on the back of the wheel

LSD's can be sourced for the S12. Live-axle S12 have a H190 diff. These are the same diffs found in Nissan Navara's, which have a factory option of LSD. Maybe one of these was used.

As far as I know, no Aus delivered S12 came from the factory with LSD

Also, SR's rule baby!
