rofl, you are NRGIZE yeh? all this time I thought you were that young guy that used to come out with his girlfriend on the old FF cruises who had a bluebird and ended up doing a turbo conversion on it!

I agree. Great budget project car mate. Should go fairly well once it's all together.

Personally,I'd have fitted larger brakes and spent a bit more on the tyres and suspension, but otherwise,I can't really fault it.

it's good to see a few 80's cars out there. gives the scene a bit of variety.

Justin...

yes i do agree with ya on the brake side of things. i'm now running R31 brakes as alot of people i know have had around 300hp at the wheels without any probs running them with 5dot brake fluid
(car wont be making anymore then 200kws at the wheels for the time being)... soon enough i'll be getting a better suspension setup eg kyb shocks & lowered springs plus strut brace etc
as for oldschool cars i feel the same way if i'm driving & see a nice old datto or something 80's & below (i'll be like fark yea) but if i see a new class car i'll be like thats nice & not think twice...
for me going for this kind of look was more the rare side of things & a nice stright/clean looking bird thats not overdone with power to match... there ant many blueys driving around with high powered engines etc
never underestimate a bluey :P (if your in the car scene u know what potential they have)

by bigger brakes,I meant bigger than what you have now, like S14 4 pots or similar.
I've always been a proponent of fitting the biggest brakes possible to a car you intend to drive fast, especially on the street, even more so than for a track car. people rarely pull out in front of you without looking, nor do you get pissed idiots staggering onto the road in front of you on a circuit like can happen on the road.

as for the suspension,I'd suggest you go for konis if you're on a tight budget,or straight to bilsteins, with a coilover conversion up front if it's not so tight. front roll centre adjusters would be a good idea also.

car is now on the road
will be slammed in the next few weeks
also get the guards rolled & put 10m spacers on the rear,
as there is 10m's on the front & 5m on the rear at the moment,
so will need longer studs on rear. o & polish that top front window strip
more things to come over the next few months strut brace, rear double sway bar etc
