Post subject:  85 TRX Yes A Bluebird

ok guys well where do i start... i thought i would fill u guys in on what i have been doin the last few months... bit of a long read but worth it :D

i'm now the proud owner of TRX Nissan Bluebird 85 Model S3 in silver... i payed $1400 with no rego...
car came with an SR20DE engine with turbo bolted on :o also the battery in the boot with surge tank, locked diff...
other then that alittle bit of rust as i hear the spots where it is, is common....
inter is in very good nic, forgot to take pic sorry... so heres some pic's below if anyones got some qestion's fire away ;) (pic's are from my 6288)

FUTURE PLANS, which are in progress right now are, all rust/dents are getting fixed, new paint job (hilux white with jet black 2 tone)
inter is almost done & its all been done in black pleather with white stitching, most of the other parts inside car will be crome, almost everything crome in
engine bay apart from a few little things, not to sure on rims yet, may get the stock trx rims powder coated matt black if not get some nice black rims with
crome lip... best part of all is i have an S14 engine ready to go in, its just a stocker for now with a T28 jap spec ball bearing turbo which made 199kws on
15psi pretty good if u ask me & 1 other thing it has a nismo thermostat, will go well in the bluebird... other then that all hoses will be braided or blue, should look nice when its all done...
i'll be doin a full rebuild later on also
:D

car come back looking better then i thought apart from a few things which i have done my self over the weekend eg..
paint some parts black & allso put the door moulds back on lazy shits lol...
anyway here below are some pic's & will post up more when car is all done & running
:P

p.s car needs a wash but can't do that without front & rear windows in (there going back in 2mor)
need to fix up front bar new clips & stickerflex, also i have the S3 front grill painted white but i reckon it looks better with a s2 grill...
need to put 2 more blue pulleys on & crome door handles need to be put on...
need to put front bar on..
all inter will be put in, in about 2weeks
i got R31 front brakes with dba slotted rotors (brand new with race pads) the rear has rda slotted rotors (brand new with race pads)
as for the chassie it will be getting looked at very soon on where to strengthen parts & common faults :)
i spent around $1500 on ball joints lower arms shocks springs etc etc the list goes on so it should be all sweet for engineering will get autosport to do that!!!
o 1 more thing window tint & cut that crappy rear muff off...

Coming along very nicely indeed. I'm planning on doing something very similar in the near future. Buying myself either a bluebird/escort/Rear drive corolla (whatever I can get my hands on first in reasonable nick). Then dropping in a SR20DET.

I must say, it's looking very good. :D
